The logo of IOI 2017 is officially released. The design of the logo is based on a tile artwork, called mo’arragh, an ancient Persian art used to decorate mosques, bazaars, and other buildings.

The logo was ranked first among 200+ proposed logos, in a public contest for designing the IOI 2017 logo by the Iranian Ministry of Education. Professional and amateur graphic designers, artists, students and even previous IOI contestants were among the people who submitted logos to the contest.
